Despite being a middle schooler about Kirino and Kuroneko’s age, she’s around the same height as Kyosuke Kyosuke, which is a surprise when she first meets him. After spotting Yu in the park where Kyosuke and Damemon first met, Tagiru, Gumdramon, and Cutemon arrive at perfect timing as Airu takes Yu to the DigiQuartz. Miho’s desire to have the top seven students disappear draws the attention of a Digimon, who promises to make it happen for her. Shortly after, news of the two best students in their grade, Mishima and Takahashi, being slammed and looking ill-nourished causes everyone in the school to be into a frenzy. Then, Kamiya and Shikimori are confronted by two girls from Gyaru for playing basketball on the court. Yu wins a basketball match while Tagiru is injured when his nose is broken.
After that, envious of Tagiru and Gumdramon, Yu meets Miho. Yu’s good nature liberates Miho, kidnapped by Tagiru Blossom and rescued from Blossom. Tagiru and Digimon Hunters defeat GigaBreakdramon. Taiki allows Arresterdramon to defeat GigaBreakdramon by DigiXrosing Shoutmon kawaii clothes and Puppetmon. When Ryoma instructs Astamon to attack Puppetmon instead, Taiki and Shoutmon risk getting injured to defend Puppetmon and allow him to come to his senses; soon, she is joined by her team, who formally identify themselves as Ryoma and Ren Tobari. Ren decides to help Digimon by having Dracmon bite into a vine.
This causes the vine to go on a rampage out of pain and affects Miho personally as she enters DigiQuartz and merges with Digimon. She is revealed to be Blossom. Tagiru’s classmate Miho Sudo has been 1st place Honor Student since elementary and is determined to improve her grades, even though she’s in 8th place. After explaining what happened to Taiki, Yu realizes Cutemon was able to escape from his Xros Loader and tries to return him to Taiki. They all return to the park and find that Airu has snatched Cutemon and plans to force him to her Xros Loader. Cutemon, still feeling down over not being able to connect with Damemon after their journey, appears in front of Yu to cheer him up; however, he is pursued by Airu, who wants to make him her cute Digimon collection.
